SUSTAINABLY TRADITIONAL

Our farm

Dating back to about 1550, ours is one of the oldest farms in Versciaco/Vierschach. Our newly designed holiday apartments are the latest addition to the farmstead, which originally consisted of a main building and an outbuilding that once served as a blacksmith’s workshop and now hosts one of the apartments.
The property is home to dairy cows and chickens and includes about 4 hectares of farmland and 19 hectares of woodland, as well as a lawn and a playground with plenty of space for guests of all ages to relax and play.
As we love nature, we set great store by living and working in a sustainable way: the energy we need is generated by the sun through our own photovoltaic unit, and our power plant is fuelled by wood chips from the surrounding woods.

Home-made farm goodness

UDDERLY DELICIOUS!

Our farm is home to cows and calves that thrive under Thomas’ loving care. We have chosen ethical husbandry: instead of being removed soon after birth, our calves can grow up with their mothers. This way, the animals are happy and give us delicious fresh milk every day!

IT’S EGG O’CLUCK!

Our hens have a pretty good life, too… Lots of space to run and peck, fresh fodder and fresh mountain air are guaranteed. In return, they offer us a daily batch of healthy, tasty eggs.

YUM YUM!

We like to pamper our guests with a breakfast basket filled with our farm products: fresh milk, fresh eggs and home-made butter, yogurt, jams and fruit juices. You can also order some low-fat curd cheese, if you like.
